Yes, the bleed valve near the fuel rail. Every time I've changed the filter I've been able to start the car first pop by filling the filter and using the valve.

So it turns out that the problem was the gear shift selector PCB P0702 code and not the one the lube mobile thought it was. Thankfully auto elecy was able to repair a dodgy solder joint on the PCB...
