Default front diff mounts

do any of you know the cost of front diff mounts???
while in perth getting my electrical problems sorted i was told both my upper and lower front diff mounts need to be replaced. the cost i was told was 300 for one set and 600 for the other top and bottom.
does anyone know the actual costs is this the right price or is it dealer cost im not sure if this was the fitted cost or just the mount costs i have a feeling they were talking just for the mounts.

I've done two upper diff mounts in 80,000km and they were replaced under warranty. Check out the various USA jeep parts suppliers. I was quoted $2400 for the front half shafts with CV's from Aussie Jeep dealers so then I bought two new ones ex USA for $300 including frieght and delivery. They weren't OME's but are working fine. Even OME's are half the price ex the USA

I haven't checked out diff mounts prices and availability ex the USA. I just search Jeep parts via Google and see what comes up. I'm a bit busy doing boat shows and stuff for the next week but I'll have a surf around soon and see what i can find. Sometimes I think i spend more time surfing the web than doing the actual repair when the parts finally arrive but it's time well spent as you can save hundreds or thousand of bucks.

I had a look around Google but no luck so far but it will be there some where, just keep searching. Try reading some of the threads on the USA Commander forum. They have a heap of tech stuff and you can asked US owners where they have bought their gear from.
