Would it be because I am logging in overseas? I know a lot of Gumtree functions are disabled to non-Australian IP addresses....... found that out the hard way. Will know on Sunday I guess.
Can I get a screenshot of said like button so I can explain to my IT people?

Just while you are trying to figure out things, I am in New Zealand. And I can see it. So being overseas makes no difference.
It might be that you have to have a certain number of "technical" posts before you can "like" them? A moderator would be able to shed some light on that.
