I dropped one of my clips behind the dash when I installed the panel, I tried everything to get it to stay in place but nothing worked.

I eventually bit the bullet and ordered the new panel from the dealer just so I could take the clips off. I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't cost that much. (Direct conversion about $12,50 Au)

yeah the problem is when you remove the panels the clips often stay behind and get pinged into the depths of the dash.
