It's not lack of will at Michael's end, nor an issue of economics - how can it be when the Commander one is finished!
The issue is to do with the hydaulic measurements, there is a vortex caused by the shape of the bend as it "exits" the A pillar and straightens up. Michael has spent hours on calculations and rejigging the internal design and based on what he told me last week even more hours at a University research centre for hydaulic design.
Basically it comes down to Michael's perfectionism. He can't get the air flow improvements he wants out of the current design with the current airbox so he needs to get the new airbox done so that the kit is complete.
Although I havent read the whole thread, I can see there is still a lot of interest in getting the snorkel sorted.
For what its worth I am interested in buying a snorkel for my 06 WH CRD.
