There doesnt seem to be too much of a difference with that and a rubicon? Or is there?
Rubicon has Dana 44 front with locker, seems to be less prone to damage than Dana 30. Also has Roc-Trac Transfer Case, lower ratios.

Thanks for your thoughts guys, it seems that the CRD Auto with the off road pack seems the way to go. I'm guessing on the 2nd hand market that might be difficult to find? There seems to be more rubicons out there for sale though.
What did that Off Road pack come with? Is the diesel that much better than the petrol?

I love my Rubicon and have no regrets. If I were Chrylser, I would simply consider providing an option to customers, a JK with a Hemi V8 and upgraded components to manage the additional horsepower. Would make things so much easier!

Whats the ball park figure in price difference between the CRD auto and rubi?
Would the price difference be made up with getting larger tyres, sliders, and other little bits and peices
