Angry Air con problem

Trouble again I have a problem with the aircon it dosn`t work at all. It was woking the other day took my daughter to school heard a grinding noise has i was turning wich sounded like the fan belt screeching and thought nothing of it. later that day got in the beast started it up but nothing comming from the heater/cooler vents, the fan switch turned from 1-4 nothing. checked the fuses ok looked under bonnet everything looks ok wondering if any one has a suggestion what the problem could be.

It it only the fan not working?
This happened to me the other week. Turned out to be a bad connection in the blower motor resistor.

Its in the passenger footwell, behind the plastic guard. its a small plate about 25mm by 50mm screwed into the aircon duct to cool the resistors.

Take off the plate and check it with a multimeter.

Sounds like what i had. I think u will find everything else is working, its just not achieving anything with the fan not working....

All it took to fix mine was some switch contact cleaner sprayed on the blower motor resistors.
