Default Howdy

Hi all, My name is Scott and i'm in the southwest of WA.

I am looking at a Jeep for the family car so I thought I would join up and try and learn a thing or two first, due dilligence and all that.

We are looking at an Unlimited wrangler, Manual most likely. Diesel or petrol still undecided. I know diesel is the intelligent option for economy, but driving a turbo diesel as the work car and the current family car, you start to get a bit sick of them. I am keen on the wrangler as I like to do a bit of shooting and the ability to take the roof off is very attractive option for spotlighting etc.

I haven't test driven one yet, but will do soon. Hopefully there is enough room for a 6"2 bloke to be comfortable driving and the road noise isn't to bad with the hard top on, I don't expect it to be as quiet as sedan, but hopefully comfortable enough for long drives.

Will let you know how I go.

Cheers
