Schmicko, I refering to a Discovery which are hardly basic, with Hill Descent Control HDC, Active Cornering Enhancement ACE and Traction Control in all my old 4WD Monthly magazines the LR always beats the GC in every aspect, but as a Jeep fan I'm trying to see past the LR's qualities and capabilities.

More research to be done...

Discovery was my next choice after the grand when i purchased it, but glad I got the grand instead, my mate on the otherhand got the discovery and had alot of issues he has nutted it all out and 2 years later now he is starting to enjoy it.

Wouldn't mind a Discovery 4, with 600 nm of torque! $85k though.

D4's are the bomb but the WJ's are great value for money imo.

Just about to finally get my 04 Overland sent up from down south, just waiting till the 2nd Feb when the guy gets back from up North!

Are you bringing in the 4" IRO Lift yourself as I have a mate with a WJ who wants the same kit...
