Default OME 617 Rear Coils

Hi, is there anyone using the OME 617 rear coils on a 4 door unlimited. If so, what sort of lift did you get, any measurments would be helpful Do you have hart top of soft top? I have recently installed 618's on my JK Unlimited diesel and achieved a little over 80mm of lift, on a brand new JK, with the soft top on. I used 50kg of weights to simulate the weight of the hard top which brings it down to around 75mm of lift. The 618's are a little firm (can live with that) but the real problem, is the JK will not fit into my work car park. With the hard top, it will probably just fit, providing i do not drive over a pebble. I may have to change to the 617's which should lower it a little, and provide a little more comfort. I am not sure if the 617's are designed for a 2 door, or a 4 door soft top. the 618s are for a 4 door hard top.
Thanks
Tom

the 617's on your 4 door will sag heavily with a load in the back, camping gear etc. will find yourself bouncing off the bump stops.

Default OME 617 Coils

That bad ah. I would consider Poly-Airs for camping. I might just put the hard top back on, and throw an extra 50kg of weights in there. I would buy the ARB rear bar if i could add a tye carrier later, just in case I wanted to. have no plans for one now? The dam hard top is to hot, might need to get some insulation? Would the 617's till give 2" or more lift on stock?

you will still get the lift, the 617 is very flexible, get alot of flex but suffer from squat when heavily loaded.

I disagree with the sagging. Have towed street sweepers with mine, a Tvan to Lake Eyre and general wheeling around vic. What id be concerned with is how tight your brake lines are!!! Mine were at full stretch when I put em in.
I have a 4dr diesel.
