Default rattling/grinding noise only on startup

hey guys, i know im posting bulk threads but bear with me =P. on my 05 TJ, as soon as i turn it over i get this grinding noise for like 1 second then it stops, its like something isnt lubricated or something, i was thinkin maybe even a bearing. any ideas?

Get someone to start the car while you have your head under the bonnet. See if you can pinpoint the location of the sound. I could be a few things. Did you do any mud or deep water crossing?

ive tried to pinpoint it but i just cant figure it out, sounds like it may be to the right of the head (lookin into bonnet). and yeah i do water and mud =P

Its not the starter pinion slow to disengage from the flywheel?
