Thanks for that advice. This is the first time I've logged in for a couple of weeks and during that time I took it to an auto electrician. He had it for half an hour, mentioned something about fixing a connection and, presto, no more faulty warning light. Looks like your suggestions below covered what was wrong.

It is highly doubtful that the ECM needs to be replaced, it it was bad there would also be a code P0606 and most times the vehicle just will not start. We hope this proves helpful.
