The 'D' in the part number means dual purpose, ie can be used as deep cycle or starting. the marine batteries are also manufatured differently to handle vibration better. Also the auxillary terminals are too small to supply the required current for winchs.

just wondering why you would buy the red top over the yellow/blue as they are dual purpose starting/deep cycle and red top more for starting i have a yellow top in mine very happy with it

just rang supercharge batteries and they want $178 for the mf58 sheeesh

Autobarn and most places carry supercharge now ... might have better prices than rec retail.
