If you had rubber RE bushs at both ends then they would wear out twice as quick and cost twice as much to replace ?
sound right yeah ? look at some threads on the the rubicon express bushs (here and USA), they still can't make a rubber bush that lasts in there control arms. so much as other makers of control arms now have a repair kit for the RE gear !
I have the new batch of bushes in my TJ and have had them in know for just under 20,000kms and the ride is as good as it was the day i got them. I know it for sure as i bought them to replace the Second set of Moppar flogged out bushes i had on the TJ at the time.

I think RE have improved their design and durability of the bushes. Im very happy with them.

Hope they are good for you mate, I thought about buying the kit to retro fit standard rubbers to mine... can you pull one for your rubber ends out and have a look, hopefully you won't be surprised.. goolge it,
lots or them might be a maintenance problem, but I know this was not the case with mine
