Redine users:

I note redlines website recommends a different oil for front and rear diffs, are people following this or just using the 75W140NS for front and rear?

http://www.redlineoil.com.au/oil-fin...ProductID=6241

Also when adding the dash of FM to suit your front end chirp needs, do you use the Mopar FM or Redline FM.?

I have the diffs off the car, is their a way to drain the old oils with a flush or just drain and replace will suffice?

Finally is the Redline 10W40 one of the better GC V8 synth engine oils?

I found a warehouse that has Redline:
The 10W40 is $85 gallon or $23 quart
the 75W140NS is $25 quart
MT-90 $95 gallon

They have the Shockproof stuff aswell ($95 Gal), and heaps of Mobil 1 like EP ($12 Q)

Are these reasonable prices? (the fella has a warehouse full in Syd and will deal direct)

Thx

Looking at the redline price on the website for 75w140 is $44 a Quart.
$25 a quart is a bargain, Who is the warehouse/guy?(details)
I am wanting to do both diffs and Auto soon too.

Unless the diff's expired/contaminated draining should be fine.
Still try get as much of the old oil out as possible.

Search for Redline or Mobil 1 on Ebay and you'll find the guy (nickjkl60181) selling it cheaper.

When I go to the Redline website and search recommendations for a Grand Cherokee, it only comes up with "1996-01 4L & V8". I can't find any recommendation for a WH CRD. Does anyone have information on the part number for Diff Oil for a 2006 CRD?

Also, as pointed out in a previous post, Redline recommend different oils for front and rear diffs albeit for the 1996-01 models.

I have the Heavy Shockproof stuff, in single bottles, $25 each.

I would not use Synthetic oil, in an older style engine, it's crap. Good mineral oils, save your dough, and your engine.
