chasing some extended shackels for an xj
any ideas where i'd be able to get these

Wooders stocks the jks extended shackles. 1 inch lift, about $190.00

I got the boomerang shackles from Wooders ages ago, work fine and give some additional clearance meaning they dont hit the box they mount in as easily.

Extended shackles do interfere with the end of the stock exhaust though.

Nothing some work with a rubber mallet and some bits of wood jammed against the fuel tank bash plate doesn't fix. Take it for a long drive to warm it up and whack away, 5mm makes all the difference and gets rid of the extra reminder that your engine is running.

Now it only boings a bit when on starting.

I have had the jks shackles for about a month now and mine doesn't quite hit the exhaust. It is pretty bloody close though. My only problem is that the extra leverage has sagged the rear springs a bit already (old man emu's which are only about 18 months old and haven't ever carried any real load). I'm gonna fit some ome add a leafs to beef it up a bit....

iv got a ome 2'' lift kit on mine, its been on about 8 months now and i swear the leafs are sagging already, does any one know why the leafs on the xj are all most flat, sorry for hi jacking this thread
