Hi sbv20j.

My guess is, CoilRite (Firestone) won't confirm, that the 50mm spacers they have aren't 'small enough to fit the 88mmID requirement & they haven't offered to cut them down.

The point of my post was to highlight that if you buy standard height airbags, it may be dificult to get them to fit AFTER a 50mm lift.

I'm pursuing this with CoilRite.

Keep us informed on how you get on please.

High there just throwing in my 2cents for anyone that will read this you dont have to do a lift to get good response and ride ive just changed my xj shocks to heavy shockers gabreal ultra and it has made a lot of difrence to the ride and handleing of it as ive had ome on my old landcruiser and it had the same efect thay are so much better we live out bush so thay get a workout and it soaks up the corragation and pot holes and wash outs just heaps better than the stockys and dosnt nosedive as much so i have read some that say that just changing the shocks dosnt do anything but thats not true and not every ones got the cash our needs a lift to do what thay need anyway thats my say

crdv6 - my (WH) OME spings (medium duty) and shocks are for sale. They've done approx 18,000kms. Only replacing them 'cause I'm doing build-up with CRDSTU and we're putting in heavy duty springs and matching shocks due to significant extra weight we'll be adding to my WH CRD (bullbar, drawer system, LRA tank, camper with 100kg downforce, etc).

I've been really pleased with the performance of the OME suspension. Zero wallow or jiggle of course. Firm and nicely progressive damping rates very well suited to the WH with a family of 4 and loaded with gear. Rebound control is perfectly judged. 2" lift has gotten us into trails I couldn't tackle before. No trade-off of poor handling (still steers sweetly at speed). Best mod I ever made and wouldn't change them if it wasn't for fact I need go heavy duty now.

If interested, send me private message. Which-ever - good luck with your mods.

Default OME suspension for sale - for WH Grand

Just fitted CRDSTU suspension (update to come on the full build-up).

The sale of my ARB Old Man Emu shocks and (medium rated) springs fell through. So they are back on the market. They've done approx 15,000kms.

$600. They're in Brisbane. Can be posted at cost (i.e. to Perth it's $135).

PM me if definately want to buy.

Forgive me mate, but are the springs lift springs or stock heights?
