Its models like the Patriot which allow the Jeep brand to survive and continue producing a crude and unrefined open top solid axle Wrangler.

Just so happens they're kinda cool cars too.

hmmmm .... interesting ...

Maybe a Fiat ???

You spend way too much time following the exploits and follies of the jeep world Yom .... ...

Only reason I knew about the Patriot was coz I parked the little french allwheeldrive wagon alongside one in town one day ... and thought it looked pretty good for a small runaround with extra traction.

A local radio station here uses Cherokees as there promotional cars.

Just ignore all the people who complain about Patriots. I think some people here enjoy whinging and being negative at every possible chance.

Apparently off roaders have to have at least 35 inch tyres, a 6 inch lift and be able to wade threw 4 foot of mud. Anything less is a joke, apparently. Because of course no one should buy a 4wd and only use it for light to medium offroad work, whats the point of that???
You should be in it for rock crawling up 45 degree mountains, or nothing at all..... well that's some guys attitudes.

/sarcasm rant
