The auto develops 460nm of torque and the manual just 410 nm.
The auto runs the 3.73:1 gear ratios and the manual 3.21:1 so your performace off road is enhanced with the auto.
As mentioned prior the auto is a delight to drive both on road and off road.
PM me if you are yet to purchase and I will save you $$$

Fletch

Hahah thanks Yom

Honestly I drove both the manual and auto and trust me the auto wins hands down, the 545rfe auto is 100% more reliable over the ngs370 manual box, and you don't have the hassles of having to worry about the clutch letting go or 1st gear jumping out.

At this stage there is no factory option for transmission cooler due to the the intercooler being in the way. The standard ratio will be 3.73 with a 4dr diesel with the auto the manual is 3.21.

The wife initally thought it was a bit sluggish on take off but we removed the rear muffler which made the off the line take off noticeably improved. Noise levels maybe increased 1db as in you can hear the tiniest of difference but it's well worth it for the take off difference.

Where abouts are you buying yours from?

Hope this helps

Default The order is nearly ready to go in!

The order for the new beast is about ready to go in. Fletch has been great, and he is getting the sale.
I'd appreciate comments/feedback on what I am going to order. I am not an extreme off roader, but I have an ability to get into "some interesting" situations when I'm away, which is mostly on my own in the far north of SA

The color will be Detonator Yellow - reason for this color is "Because I can"!!!
CRD Auto Unlimited, ARB front bar, mopar rear bar and tyre carrier, tow bar, 2" Mopar lift, manual sway bar disconnect, Renegade pack, Mopar (aev) snorkel and I'll look at leather seating a little later on. The interior will be basically black, and the optional yellow hardtop is not an option for Australia.

I plan to fit an ARB locker in the back later on, as well as an HF and UHF radio. Also be putting a TUFFY drawer under the pass seat, and probably a tuffy centre console.

As I said, comments/suggestions would be welcome.

Sounds fine to me JTB, as an owner of a Detonator Yellow JK Unlimited myself I can say it is a stand out colour, nearly three years on I still love it. You won't be disappointed with your set-up it sounds fine.

If you want leather seats later on you can get a product called Katskins, which replace the factory seat outer.

Good choice though all up.
