Default My homemade TJ Rear Cargo Draws

Been browsing the forum of late and got inspired to build some rear draws for the back of my TJ.. would of loved to buy a set but unfortunately my first year apprentice wages didnt allow me to.

All up it took me around 3-4 evenings after work to complete... im pretty stoked with how they came out so thought id share

Nice one Mark, looks really good! how did you attach the timber to the body- is it bolted to the floor?

thanks mate, the timber is attached to the body via the seat belt attatchment points in the side of each wheel arch. nice and solid mounting point.

I chose to use those particular spots because i really didnt want to drill holes into the body.

Nice work mate. I've been wanting to do something myself but not that skilled in wood work Is yours able to be removed relatively easy? As in do you use the seat belt points just securely attached to? Or permanently?
