now got the XJ to do ,

Thanks, thats better, I will leave the engine in, I can get to everything else okay, don't even need to take the flywheel off... Nice!

Going to see what my sump gasket looks like when I get it off, most likely tomorrow and get on to finding some welsh plugs too...

sump gaskets are a bit pricey, i had to get mine from the dealer

Ended up going with REPCO for the sump gasket... $45 including delivery... Will find out if it fits when I get it!

I was quoted about $85 from Lonsdale Engine Worx in Adelaide, and I have found them cheapest by far for all other sets I have needed. However if you are getting one from Repco for $45 and it is rubber I reckon I will go get one myself so I am ready just in case my XJ starts to leak.

Yep, its rubber, made by ACL... Looks to fit fine... That $45 includes mates rates...
