Does anyone know where exactly is meant by seating reference point "R" in ADR 72?

A defence of ADR 72 is the “seating reference point R” being higher than 700mm from the ground. I’m pretty sure it’s more than 700mm, but I’m not exactly sure where it is.

Have a look at the link below. I can't quite tell what they mean with the intersecting planes and angles in reference from the torso and point H.

Ok so it is still legal to dirve a 1998 tj with no doors, roof and windscreen? Can they make it illegal or is it sweet because new laws dont apply to older cars?
Thanks.
PS good luck with the fine buddy. I think some people have to remember police are people. Theyre probably not gonna get angry because someone wants to avoid a fine for something legal.

Default Charges Dropped - Pura Vida has been acquitted

I received the result of my appeal and the sdro has cancelled Pura Vida's fine for driving without doors in NSW.

Pura Vida is a 2001 TJ with mirrors relocated onto the chassis. The same result may or may not apply to newer models.
