Ram mounts are an excellent option & can use suction cups, bolts or clamps to attatch to pretty much any part in the car.

trailhead by north face (the clothing company) is an excelent trail app. It track your distance, lays it over a satalite map and you can upload it so others can check out the trail.

Smile I want it all NOW lol

Hi Guyz
as my title says "I want it all now" - I want a nice rubber g shock type protector case for my Iphone 4 and a compatible hands free car kit - currently I have a really nice "Otter box" very tough rubber protection for IP4 - I have dropped it off a 2 story building and it has survived without a mark.

Heres my UGh - dilemma
1. The Otterbox is not a quick cover to put on or take off!
2. All the hands free car kits I have found so far require the Iphone to be naked!

I wish someone would sell a combined solution i.e a tough case and compatible car kit
my 2c
cheers

I have a ck7W as well and it's flawless with the iphone. My previous zte phone could be a bit patchy with the coupling but the i[hone's much better.

Thought I'd resurrect this one with a different idea... I got sick of trying to find a solution to this issue last year... Ended up getting an Apple Universal Dock (Like you plug into your home stereo) and mounting it in the centre console, under the gearstick. Just cut a hole the size of the dock and fixed it under the surface of the console, rebated in a little. Advantage of this is I just have to buy a new dock adapter when they (inevitably) change the shape of the iPhone... Can also use it for other iPods. Wired the power into the back of the cigarette lighter and wired the audio out into a cable that comes out the air vent next to the Mygig, so it can plug straight into the audio in when required. I think it's a neat solution... Automatically charges the phone, voice connects via uConnect, audio through the stereo... Even the Apple remote still works (Don't ask me how it works through the plastic console though)!

Wouldn't be great for GPS use, as it's a bit low down to casually glance at the screen while driving... I'm sure you could do the same thing in the top of the dash though?

I don't have any photos unfortunately, as I'm working overseas and left my baby at home... I could organize for someone to get a photo for you though if you were interested?
