Thanks Gildo - was going to get both seals too. You back in Melb yet????
Got the frame from Mascot motors - I emailed a couple of Aus places, they rang back the next day with a price, following day with freight price, at my house 3 days later.
And get a new piece of glass too, for the effort you are going too, why the hell not!
I bought my replacement windscreen frame from the states, Quadratec I think
My experience - possibly the frames vary a bit in shape depending upon where they were manufactured. My Mascots sourced frame [a Taiwanese brand from memory] was a different size to the standard glass available here. Twice an on-site installer I tried shattered windshields attempting to force them in. I didn't pay but it wasn't "entirely" their fault. They were only trying to fit a CJ7 glass to a CJ7 frame and it's not as if they do these things every day like a they would a Camry. Another fitter I actually took the frame to sussed it quick and had to grind the glass a significant amount to fit. They said it was beyond the "bent in transit" scenario. Maybe mine was an aberration but keen to see how yours pans out.

Replaced lap belts, new flares, front indicators, mirrors and have started coating the floor pan with bituminous paint to keep the rust at bay a little longer! (under the carpet) Bloody hell its thick stuff!!
Next step will be getting the windscreen frame painted ready for the new screen and bolt on!
Started putting a new floor in the CJ5 .
Tried out my new Mig (thanks tassiefsj) managed to put lots of bird shit under the jeep .
nothing that a grinder and a heavy coat of paint wont hide
