Default Cars Guide Used TJ Wrangler Review

read the used car guide review in the Age today for a used TJ.
it was written by David Morley, who ever he is. one thing for sure he doesnt know Jeeps. he must have simply drove it around the block then strung together some words. the review is pathetically poor as he hasnt a clue about some basic TJ Wrangler facts. I wouldnt put much credence on these idiots and it goes to show you have to do your own research

I think though that the average Jeeper would have more sense than to rely on a "The Age" review for their full research!

Look, it says the same as several other reviews I've seen about every model of the Jeep - crap on road, brilliant off road. Yet the vast majority of Jeeps sold never go off road very much. So everybody is buying for the look and the image which Jeep are capitalizing off and good luck to them.

LOL, you're funny.
Dave Morley has been around for years. Ever read Motor magazine, or even Street Machine magazine, or picked up the Age cars guide before? He has also appeared in TV programs on motoring as well. He knows his stuff.

And you cant seriously tell me a TJ , particularly an old second hand one, steers and handles much better than a garden variety ride on lawn mower.

Sure they perform ok offroad. Onroad, they are attrocious, especially compared to just about any car of similar vintage. they understeer, they body roll, they shake and shudder over bumps, their NVH levels are similar to a horse drawn cart. Their fuel economy is very average, and their brakes are poor, esp in the wet.

Sure you arent just a bit biased?
