Internode for me - been with them for 4 years and any tech hitch (like installing wireless in the house) I'm on the phone and they talk me through the problems. They are brilliant, particularly if you are a technodumbo like me.

Cheers ... Mark

I curently have TPG and it's been great so far, no problems at all and the speed is fantastic.
had Bigpond ADSL 2+ before this as it was the only option available through the local exchange and whilst it was very expensive, the service and speed was actuaclly pretty good. The few times I had problems I didn't have to pay for that month.
Try this website for all available ADSL2+ exchanges in your area. All you have to do is either enter your phone number or address and it will show the distance to the local exchange, service providers available and spare lines available.

really after a wireless broadband, dont want cables and leads. too inconvenient with a laptop and watching tele at the same time
You can have Cable/ADSL/ADSL2 hooked up to a Router with Wireless. So any/all computers in your house can connect to the internet from anywhere. Only cable you need is from the Wall plug to the router. Just like a Phone would be plugged in. Mine is hidden in a Cupboard.

Wireless network in your house will be faster and more reliable than 'Wireless Broadband'

^^^ What Scooter said. I have a wireless router (i.e. Netgear DG834GV) that all my devices connect to so there's no need for cables.

Check out the Exetel broadband plans: http://www.exetel.com.au/a_plan_pricing_new.php

I just signed up for ADSL at 1500kbps for $34.50 per month with 100GB downloads!

Another vote for Iinet, been with them since the Internet was invented and worked at several places who gas them as well. Flawless service and great customer service too.
