haha.. and a whole lot of good it did anyway??

seems it was never about the land, clean up was about getting committees off their backs, so at some point they could develop the land (was ALWAYS going to happen)... Can you imagine if they made the place semi legal to wheel you 4x4/dirtbike?? When the time came to develop the land, there would of been a huge upcry!, with alot more protest than we are seeing now. instead people have always known its coming, and used the land while it was there..

You ask me have i ever been to a clean up?? answer is No.. Why does it matter? I have never been part of a 4x4 'club' till now. So had no invite to one.? Ive done many clean up Australia days.. same deal actually.. Is this thread about bragging about how much you've done now steve??

Ive lived at worronora in my early years, and menai for the last 15 years. basically my whole life, lived next to, or within minutes of access to bush leading to 'white rock' for many years, going there on the bikes was normal, and fine. Lately its been more and more difficult. to the point we hardly visit.
shame really..

They had people running around, cleaning up the place, so they can send an army of bull dozers down and destroy it.? (doesnt make sense) They carried on about the impact of 4x4s on the fire trails, when its going to be destroyed for homes.. (3000 homes is now.. seems the conservation area would/could easily be modifed to accommodate more in the future, as these developers have zero credibilty to sticking to what they say... I wouldnt trust for a second it wont turn into a massive development (with a conservation area the size of a park in the future)..

Still, i have no clue as to why you decided to plaster the fact menai is now 'Officially' closed all over ausjeep. (once is fine steve) And then to dig up old threads, remove pictures, carry on, and get on your high horse, about who did what clean up big noting yourself??
Im not sure your deal, upset about menai, needing to vent? cool can understand that, send your frustrations else where please.

have a good day stevie..
