Default XJ aerial motor stays on

The motor on my radio aerial won't cut off. It doesn't detract the aerial either. For the last week if I push the aerial down gently it would retract and turn off. I just gave it a bit of crc. Now the aerial motor wont turn off. I had to disconnect my battery to get it to stop. What I would like to do is disconnet the motor, preferably leaving the aerial up, but how do you get to it? anyone faced this problem? I am in the country so can't just pop down a service center.

cheers!

Just pull the separate fuse under the dash & leave it in the up position. Thats what I have done. Very common & exxy to replace. There is a NOS one on ebay at the moment but it's $129 plus delivery.

Thanks Dave. I was looking at the fuses under the hood. Wrong place.

Thanks Dave, all done. I must say nothing reminds me that my eyesight and back aint what they were like searching for fuses under there. No problem with water travelling down the aerial into the now always open hole? I have to park my jeep in the weather.
