Went round the tyre place today and they don't really seem to want to do anything even though it's clearly a case of wrong offset on the rims.

Got someone lined up that wants to buy em so I'm going to get the new 31's put onto my old alloy rims which sucks because I can't Stand the looks of em.

Atleast they will tuck up into the Guards well though and won't look noticeable. The rubbing should hopefully stop too once I sort the bumpstops out on the weekend.

Anything I should be aware of with going back to my old stock rims with the new larger Tyres? Maybe issues with the tyre hitting something ect?

You will now need to adjust the steering stops to stop them rubbing on the control arms at full lock. Couple of washers does the trick

Hi mate
On your rim there will be a -10 or -25 on them if it's -10 you will be ok to run them with a small $50 mod to your stock flares
If it's -25 I can make you up some glass trail flares they look the same as rusty one's

There's a couple of us getting together this weekend again if you have time to come round and have a look

cheers Dave

thanks cam, all good bud but thanks for the offer. I got creative with the angle grinder and hammer today, got the tyres fitted up with the new rims and she gets minimal rubbing. Still need to trim a bit more and get the BFH out during the week.

Also installed some box section steel about 25mm to space the t case down instead of the dodgy washer job. Looks much more stock now.

Painted the flares 2 pack matt black and installed some rubber garden edging, with the stock flares now black i think she came out real good.

Also took her out for its first real drive and play today at GHM, she did everything i threw at her and only failed on one hill due to the rear bar hitting out and stopping me in my tracks.

Pretty capable truck but ill tell you what, i forgot how intersting hard runs are without twin lockers lol. Got to think about it a bit more!

No damage apart from loosing one of my damn JKS disco pins somewhere, easy fix for the drive home though with a tent peg and some elecy tape.

And the best part is my mate in a built up 80 didnt have to recover me hahaha.

Got the pictures uploading at the moment and will post some shortly.
