I have the Bilsteins with the King springs set. Gives me 2" lift. Excellent combo.

They have lifted the car about half an inch, more noticeably at the front which is a bit odd. The ride is slightly firmer, as I had hoped and there is much better rebound control, so less pitching when towing my 23' van.
So, overall I am fairly happy, but was it really worth $500? Yes it was, but I'm glad I didn't pay any more...

Odd that you say you're glad you didnt pay any more than the $500.00. I dont think you would anything near the quality of Bilsteins or anything else for that matter for $500.00.

Sure you could get a set of Ironman nitro's for $450.00ish but than they are rubbish. Dont know what you expect for $500.00, anything else..ARB's, Rancho's, Toughdog's TJM's will all set you back upwards of $900.00.

Cheers

^^^^ I have to completely agree.

My Bilsteins have done upwards of 60,000klm now, with no let off in their performance. Stock shocks fade after 20,000klm or so, as do most other aftermarket brands.

As for the improvement they made to my WH, well I found it fantastic. I truly hated the shock control (rather lack of) on the standard setup.
