The figures are shot immmediately!!

They quote ($6,500 less than 2.8l) but that is incorrect a 2.8 AUTO might be $6500 more than a 3.8 Manual but the auto alone is about $4000 option!!!

I bought my 2.8 CRD AUTO RENEGADE Unlimited ($4000 option) on a lease plan with ARB front and rear bumpers for $46 000, but only paid $43 000 (gst paid by finance co)

When CJD would only do $38 000 for 3.8 MANUAL SPORT?? No bars, no auto, no Renegade pack.

According to Redbook all sports
2010 CRD Unlimited Auto RRP $41990
2010 CRD Unlimited Man RRP $39990
2010 Petrol Unlimited Auto $37990
2010 Petrol Unlimited Man $35990

So apples with apples (except Auto in 2010 CRD is a better 5 speed box) the comparison is maximum of $4000

Matt.

the wrangler doesnt have the 3.7L motor so confused already. They should compare to the penestar motor when that is released as more fuel efficient and much improved motor.

For the K's i do in the rubicon JKU a diesel motor would take me 30 years to get the money back so was pointless and i dont mind the petrol anyway, even if a little sluggish it is adequate

Only the subject line is 3.7l (that's my typo)
In the specs above it's a 3.8l

I added the ($6500 less than 2.8L) the article only states CRD 2.8l Auto is($6500 greater). I take that to also mean the 3.8l is $6500 less? Given that if something is more than the reverse is less than???

I took this to read that the 2.8L CRD 5sp auto is $6500 greater than the 3.8L petrol 6sp manual thus, the 3.8L petrol 6sp manual must be $6500 less than the 2.8L CRD 5sp Auto.

They can only compare the 2 vehicles at the prices they were quoted. The magazine prices are quite close to the prices displayed on Jeep's Website (+/- a few hundred)

That's the only addition I added?

Pete
