Default first trip out

i headed down to skeet road with afew mates from work it started of great until we came to a water crossing with very steep sandy banks on each side my work mate Zayne who has a jk with a 4 inch lift said you'll be fine just give it curry.... i did but bellyed out mine is standard height with a bash plate covering the transfer case of which got me stuck through out the day neitherless to say i did'nt make it across 4 atempts.....i was stuck...and had to be pulled out.... i was sure i would make it[IMG][/IMG][/IMG] sorry have'nt master the art of posting pics yet i tryed the url thing but it kept saying wrong file type

mines the little one but it will grow up bigger n stronger than the jk soon.....well thats the idea anyway

Sounds like you had a good day out.

In all seriousness though that's the best way to learn and see what mods you need rather than what you want. Get out there and try it. See what works well and what doesn't and think about changing the things that don't. Just be careful how aggressively you learn that's all.....I learned that I need to get some decent sill protection......by bending the plastic side steps up and putting a nice crease along the bottom of the B pillar

A couple of inch's of lift and some decent tyres will go a long way to helping you get further off road without breaking the bank......and a mate with a 4" lifted JK is always handy to wheel with as he can help you out of any tricky situations you might accidentally find yourself during your learning process.
