Has anyone had their 3.0lt CRD Commander on a Dyno?
Ok nobody has any input, I'll have to start it off.
A couple of weeks ago I went to Roo Systems and had a 3" big bore exhaust (DPF back) fitted. No more ironing board muffler. The commander was also run on the dyno to test the following options. 1) Standard Engine, 2) Diesel-Power tunning module turned on (setting 9) and 3) big bore exhaust and module turned on.
Results from the Dyno
If you compare the standard run (Pink), to the module installed run (Green), the dip in power at 74-80km/h is amplified by the module. Even though the post exhaust installation only produced a 4 hp increase, overall it has totally removed the dip in power.
On the road the exhaust is more noticeable with a smooth increase in power through the whole range. Fuel economy has improved by 0.5lt/100kms (from 11.5 lt/100kms to 11.0 lt/100kms).
