Nazz mine is doing the same thing too, nut more frequently...from a standing start, I accelerate, the car revs but only just creeps forward a bit until it then starts going...It's almost like taking off in second gear...is this what yours is doing?

Well so far from what I have worked out there is an error code which is P0700 that comes up when you turn keys off on off on again on the dash from there you need someone with a scan tool that can acess what that means. I am fairly sure...well on mine anyway that apparently there is a group of 5 sensors inside the gearbox...one of my sensors is shit...number 4 sensor I think...now you can't buy just one sensor you can only by the block and from what I am told it's about $600-$800. I'm not at all sure about all this yet which is why I'm seeing as well if anyone has had this trouble or had to replace anything like this also...I have had the box serviced incase the sensors were blocked and that hasn't helped(and used the proper mopar oil..very expensice shit that is) so I'm really not sure either. If I stop and turn the keys off and then on and then off and on again sometimes that fixes it and I'm away again, but it is really shittn me and need to get something done about it sooner rather than later....I'll keep searching for info and if I come up with anything I'll be sure to post up about it.

Oh, sorry nazz,

I wasn't exactly familiar with your issue. From reading the last few posts between you guys, reminded me of the transmission issue I had with my WG. It sounded so similar. It felt like the clutches were slipping and always happened when the car was cold.

So yes, now I also agree that you have a transmission issue.

I never fixed it though as it didn't come on regularly. I'll never forget sitting on a traffic light one morning, up the hill, and on the green couldn't take off, I mean hardly, the car revving its guts out but hardly moved.

How I used to get rid of the "slipping" feel was, I pulled up to the side, put in low range, drive a few meters forward and backward in LO, the chuck it back into HI and it would be good for a few months.

Now I have the WH and it never gave me transmission issues. I suppose it's a different transmission altogether.
