Default Removing Headrests

I have just bought an 07 Commander and need to remove the headrests from the centre row to improve visibility. There are release buttons on the front seats for height adjustment and removal, however the second row appear to be fixed. Will I need to remove trim etc and unbolt them? Any help is appreciated, this is my first Jeep and I am loving it

I assume these are probably a similar setup to the JK headrests. They can be removed but it is a bit of messing around.

Have a search for the JK thread on this.....there was instructions with pics if i remember correctly

Hi WHEELZ

I have an 08 Grand Cherokee which has many of the same components. I had the same issue as you with the middle back seat headrest obscuring my rear view and I just pulled it upwards, and out it came.
