I had a friend with me from Jeep USA and he found at 1200 mikes his company JK manual came alive.

The JK had only 15ks on the clock. It was not a demo so we looked after it.

This was the first time I rode in the back seat after my drive. What a heap of rubbish the back seat is. I know I never have to be back their in my own JK but how the hell people ride around in those seats.

I also test drove a new CRD Grand Cherokee Laredo. Now that's a nice Jeep and only 10k more than a CRD JKU Renegade. I may even look at one of those as my ride and keep my BMW Z4 for top down driving.

The other big disappoint is Jeep NZ only have autos now no manual JK's.
I drove a Pentastar 4 Door in the US a few weeks ago, and I'd have to say it was pretty average. It revved and roared and accellerated well, but it seemed to do it with a lot of noise and harshness.
When I got home and drove my CRD, it (the diesel) felt heaps better, and dare I say it, more powerfull, with a lot less fuss.

Now I find Jeep NZ trying rip us off with selling JK Sports as Renegades. Does Australia sell full Renegade/Sahari's

no we dont get those here atleast not named as such.

There was a renegade pack available but that as a dealer option not the name of the wrangler itself (whether this is still an option i am not sure)

Renegade pack was simply the 6 speaker Infinity sound system with 6 stacker and Dual top package (both hardtop and soft top) with tinted rear windows and plastic side steps.
