1 Comment | Add Comment

Symptoms- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
- Transmission will not shift gears.Possible causes- Low transmission fluid level
- Dirty transmission fluid
- Faulty OD shift solenoid valve
- OD solenoid valve harness or connectors
- OD solenoid valve circuit is open or shorted
P0760 JEEP DescriptionOver Drive (OD) solenoid valve is turned ON or OFF by the Transmission Control Module (TCM) in response to signals sent from the park/neutral position (PNP) switch, vehicle speed and Engine Control Module (ECM) (throttle opening). Gears will then be shifted to the optimum position. When is the code detected? The TCM has detected a fault in the OD Solenoid circuit

mate, if it's in warranty just take it back to the dealer. if not go to a transmission specialist. this going to be more than a 2 minute fix for a beginner . better to get it fixed properly cheers.

petrol cars are much the same now mate. cancel the code. restart the car and see if it comes back. if it doesn't fine, if it does and the car drives o'k' , ring dealer and ask. if it is undriveable and under warranty you have jeep assist to truck it there for you.
