Default AEV 2.5 inch Lift

Anyone have any thoughts/opinions on the new 2.5" AEV lift?

Only just come out by the looks of it so might have to wait a while for real world reviews....

I saw it just the other day actually, it's fairly well priced, but not much use for aus buyers seeing as that rear trackbar is for LHD only. I also think any lifts above 2" should really have a steer drag link, makes a huge improvement on steering quality.

Not a kit for much offroading, but it will be a better option than a lot of the cheap and nasty budget boosts you see advertised online.

It should be a good kit when a RHD pack comes out. The kit mentions a rear track bar and a rear track bar mount - I think its a rear track bar mount and a front track bar. Both of these are useless for us anyway.

Has been a lot of people waiting for this!

I disagree about not for offroading though, 2.5in and 35's or even just 33's will make for a very capable JK.

Wont need a high steer kit for the front, besides not really feasible for under 3in as they require a 3in bump stop extension so the brackets dont hit the chassis.

The price seems great, considering that Bilstein 5100s are included.

Contact Jeepkonection/Procomp - they may already have a RHD setup

The instructions already include info about fitment to RHD. Main difference is that you refit the factory rear track bar instead of using the one in the kit. Price point is fairly good.

I'm really tempted to get this kit when I lift my JK. Seems like it'll suit, what I want from my lift

Yeah apparently there is a RHD drive kit available, even one available on Quadratec - although that mentions rear track bar as opposed to front - might need to check that detail.

I imagine the US forums will soon have some reviews soon - might be worth a read...
