Default steering components

i was wondering if anyone would be able to give me a list of all the bushes in the steering of my xj. Anything rubber that i can replace (all joints and ends as well). i have ordered a set of upper and lower control arm bushes im just not 100% sure on the steering side. any help would be appreciated

The parts catalogue is what you really need. I got my copy (8.5 Mb, 417 pp) at the Great Lakes XJ site before the page disappeared recently. Lots of pretty pics.

My copy is for a 2001 model, give me a yell if it would help.

Tough job doing the bushes,quicker and less hassle to swap over the whole arms.

What Easy Rollins said re: control arm bushes, but if you have already bought the bushes so be it

For basically a stock replacement you might like to consider a Crown Heavy Duty Steering Kit. HDSTRGCR3 doesn't come with the steering stabiliser, HDSTRGCR4 does. HDSTRGCR1 and HDSTRGCR2 are LHD versions.

Apart from that, just follow the pic...

Rhys,don't go nuts replacing stuff that is still serviceable....waste of money mate.I'll PM you my phone number as I see you are on the southside,lets get together and I'll show you how to check your front end...you bring the sticky bun...ok?
