There was something they tried releasing in NSW last year putting a blanket 50mm lift limit on any vehicle with Electronic Stability Systems, Engineered or not, not sure if it got through in any states but it seemed the only way around it was to go the Individually Constructed Vehicle method. Better to check before commiting to any plans.

Strictly speaking QLD regs say no lift at all for ESP fitted vehicles, unless approved by the manufacturer of the vehicle to be lifted and not effect the ESP system.

so because Jeep offer the mopar 2 inch lift does that make it approved?

Hope so I have the receipt for the Mopar springs in my glovebox (dont have the Mopar springs anymore but thats another story!)

I thought that the fact that Chrysler offers a re-flash to the ESP system for lifted vehicles to account for this change to the centre of gravity (as well as having a complete disable proceedure programmed in & able to be easily activated with steering wheel song 'n dance) would cover this? Or is it the same as the doors issue; fine to drive around doorless on the road in the 'States but a legal no-no here.

So much talk of a dealer re-flash for lifted vehicles but no dealer sort of worth the drive for me in QLD can tell me about it only offer suggestions of routine updates which might make it more compliant with various aftermarket lifts.
