Default 3.5 RE lift problem

Hi guys

I was looking at the car from front on and noticed a that the car is higher on the left.

I took some measurements front the top of the tyre to the bottom of the flare in each corner with the following results.

Front left 195
Front right 165

Rear left 175
Rear right 150

Very inconsistent, can I expect it to settle out or is the a serious issue?

As long as the springs went in the correct side it should settle after an hour or so. I had the same issue after doing my panhard and lift.

It has been in overnight now, the only weight that has been on the right hand side is me at 95 kg, surely passenger weight shouldn't make too much difference in settling time. Oh well, time will tell

yep same with mine. i ended up swapping left to right so the higher spring sat on the drivers side so once im sitting in it, it is pretty level.

This is kinda logical - if you consider that lift kits are usually designed specifically for left hand drive.

It's also quite common to hear of this in aus... Some just use an extra coil isolator up front and sometimes an extra leaf in the back.

Never got round to measuring mine but I think you've given me the want to dl it tonight its always looked to lean to the right on stock sport springs.

Just measuring the lift, from stock on the right it has gone up 4 inches front and rear but the left is 5 rear and a bit over 5 left front. Really not looking forward to the prospect of having to change the springs over. If I do it will be the fronts I will swap around first and see what alert of balance that gives.

There isn't actually a left and a right spring is there? I just saw part numbers nothing else.
