Default sye and speedo

hey guys i have an 04 tj wrangler with the slip yoke eliminator and the speedo reads about 20 while normal driving and 40 when flat out i have done some research and its supposed to be a magnetic sensor?
just bit confused on how i can resolve this problem please any advice would be appriciated need to get this thing on the road soon and the speedo is kinda important apparently lol

(will upload a photo of what i have found tonight bout to leave for work)

I had the same issue was just the speedo gear had stripped teeth. Replaced that and all good. Check the simple things 1st will only take u 5 min to check it.

its got the slip yoke eliminator and magnetic speedo if it was the speedo gear it would be simple but its not

Buy a GPS if you are running non standard sized tyres then your speedo will be out any way.

Which SYE kit is it specifically? Ring tone pick up can spike or malfunction if the yoke nut is not done up to proper torque.

Is it possible there is a calibration unit fitted that is not calibrated properly in between?

Not all SYEs change over to electronic speedo, only super short variety do.

the fella i bought it off all he said was super short slip yoke eliminator didnt say a brand
