Default Track Mate, mate...

Hey ya'll,

I have a Track Weekend Mate on order - about 6 weeks away from delivery, just in time for my birthday (40th present to myself).

I have a Hannibal Jumbo RTT going on top, with custom length walls on the annex to enclose it (for the dog, believe it or not). Its built for 33" tyres (on JK rims, 5x5" pattern) on their awesome MC2 Asymetric link independant suspension (designed for the Aussie military), 70L water tank, 105Ah battery, 1/2 boot up front with enclosed fridge compartment and slide, 47L ARB fridge freezer, gas bottle(s), swing out stainless steel kitchen, room for 6 jerry cans... and all completely modular, so you can turn it back into a box trailer to take your crap to the dump!

Plan is to put it behind a new '12 JKU Rubicon - ordered back in Feb, and delivery will be late in the year (don't ask). Too impatient to wait, so it will go behind the KJ for a while. Got sick of waiting for the JK - needed a toy!

Excited... very excited.

Will post pics when it rolls off the line.

S.

I do like the track mate, you will have to give us a bell so I can come and check it out.
I have been toying up between a track mate, adventure trailers chaser or building my own.
congrats on the purchase.

Ya, no worries MC - you're just down the road anyway...

I was actually trying to find a Track Tactical military trailer as a base to build my own... bloody hard to find. I even registered with the Defence Department as an 'interested party'. The list of stuff they sent me that is coming up for sale was pretty damn awesome - but no tacticals.

Got sick of looking/waiting, so pulled the trigger on the Mate.

The Mrs is happy - as long as we got the kitchen... go figure.

I have been looking for a tactical track as well, I have my name down with Brisbane disposals. I missed out on a couple on ebay.
Thats the reason I got hardfloor camper to keep the mrs happy but I want a trailer for work as well and the mate looks pretty good.
What did they sting you for it, if you dont mine me asking and how long is the wait.
I will be happy to tow it around for you while you wait for you jk.

Thanks mate, I'm sure the KJ will tow it around while I wait for the JK...

All up including the fridge and front compartment, and custom Hannibal RTT etc, it was just shy of $25k.

They are a solid unit and nice to deal with too. Been around their workshop a few times and only too happy to help you.
