Pretty good run over all.
  • Blew a rear transfer case seal at 1,000km
  • been back for soft top leaks half a dozen times (still leaks but have given up wasting my time taking it back)
  • Had the Clock spring replaced at 20,000
  • Have rolled backwoods down steep hills twice now after the ABS/traction control worked over time and left me with no brakes (Chrysler AUS and US wont even acknowledge that this could happen despite finding dozens of others who have suffered the same issue)
  • Had intermittent rough running / lack of power / poor economy for nearly 20,000km and has been back several times and every time came back with 'poor quality fuel fillup' as the probable cause - fixed it 2 weeks ago myself after finding the cable from the passenger side O2 sensor worn through and intermittently shorting on the exhaust heat shroud

Would I buy another? Yep
why would you buy another?

For me there is some think I can't explain when I drive my jk it's like a good feeling however I think my front differential is leaking oil

I have only done 13,050km I am hoping to keep it for at least five years lol
1, Turbo hose at 25,000.-
2, Transmission replaced at 28,000.

I intend to keep my JK for life. Once the warranty expires then bring on the V8. Damn I have a 6 year warranty.

My2008 CRD Auto purchased new August 2009 just had 3 year birthday has 53500 km. motor gear box smooth as day I bought it no issues, No soft top leaks but hard top did, doors adjusted a few new seals and all is good all under warranty. No other real problems
Have replaced suspension Murchison products 40mm lift and AEV deluxe front bar and steel skid and it now sits and rides like it should have from factory.

Picked up my 2012 CRD in Jan and have done 28,000km so far (daily driver goes to syd and back from the Central coast most days).

Been back for rust on the front bar and a broken headlight mount, so nothing major.

Would I buy another? Yes, but I wouldn't opt for any additional Jeep extras. Opted for the mopar pack as it was part of a lease. Most of the gear is ok but the lift is horrible. Will be going as soon as funds permit.

'08 2door V6 manual Sport hardtop, 76,000KM.

Had a few things taken care of early on under warranty (some of them self-inflicted by myself while learning the finer points of off-road driving by trial & error, some just the result of poor quality parts/workmanship) but generally it's been trouble free for the almost 4 years I've had it (and all the major components such as engine/drivetrain, suspension, etc have been flawless) and it's my daily driver. Motor produces more power/torque & gets better mileage than it ever did so maybe it's finally run-in (or maybe it's the 15W40 oil I switched to once the warranty was up?).

The front panels on the hardtop do leak at the corners of the A-pillar when it's been absolutely pissing down & the Jeep's parked facing downhill on a steep angle; I learned to park it nose facing uphill if a storm is forcast & all good, as I've heard from members on this forum that the dealer's leak-fixing efforts often end up making things worse. All in all my JK's been everything I hoped & expected it to be.

On a side note, I'm still on the original Goodyear Wrangler SA tyres & they look to have at least another 10-15K kms on them before they're down to the tread markers; don't think I've ever had a set of tyres on any vehicle that have worn so well.

so far it has 92,000 kms on it, just replaced the original tyres... even though they were crap on road, they were alright off road and wore very well...

apart from factory recalls (according to service history) nothing major to report- TOUCH A LOTTA WOOD!!!

Love it to bits! bit heavy on the juice though around 12-13l/100kms
