Default Another CJ5

Hi there!
Well I don't know why but just got myself another CJ5. I belive its circa 1964 but still need to look it up.
Willys Motors Aust No. CJ5 - 1532
Kaiser Jeep Corp No. 8305 176332

The body is VERY straight and un-molested bar on both sides under the "JEEP" logo it had had a kick out vent added.
It was a 134 F head engine, folding windshield with top mtd wipers, does not have either the blanked off battery box or vent in the cowel.
How ever it does not have any seats nore does it have a engine~gear box~ T-fer case.

So I am on the look out for a 134ci F head engine, a T90 gear box and a dana 18 t-fer case.

Here is a photo of it. I will up load more once I drag it home in the next few days/week.

Oh its very straight. I was quite amazed just how good the body work is for a 48yo jeep. Just a shame its missing its power pack and gear box.

Great find. To my mind there is a sweet spot in the proportions of the early short nosed CJ5s. Looks just so. Look forward to following what you do with it. Jeeps are a great blank canvas for so many different builds.

Cheers,

Gordon

Nice find!
The kick-out vent under the Jeep logo is not molestation, it's original!
My '64 cj6 has the same vents installed both sides
