Its all good, I believe that will be sufficient as they are definitely bigger gauge than the wires running the current setup and there are two of them!
Anyone fitted 90/130 globes to theirs yet? I am thinking of going down this path for mine but I am concerned about blinding oncoming traffic. I assume that the small size of the XJ's headlights means that this concern is unfounded.
BTW - JJ I am half way through the install and the driving light connection looks like it will be a breeze with the added benefit of a proper earth connection(the previous owner earthed them to a shared earth under the dash).
Just wind them down,I use my garage door to get them even then take for a drive. On low beam you want them down on the road out about 30 odd meters....you will work it out.
I am in the process of ordering the parts to make some more of these, due to the cost of the parts rising recently and the fact that I actually make bugger all out of each one I am going to need to increase the price to $110ea, let me know if that is a problem, I will be contacting each memeber who has expressed interest before proceeding.
Cheers, JJ
Apologies KJ looks like I was wrong...... JJ makes "Bugger All" not nothing out of them. I should maybe more specific when I quote someone so I don't get egg on my face......
Regards A
