Question Jeep No Top

Just wondering how many people leave there JK parked with the top down when out and about and over night?

I dont have a garage but will park it over night under the car port.
Anyone doing this?
Will it the inside be all damp in the morning?

Wife got me some Safari Straps Cargo Nets (Still to Fit), so not to worried about people poking there hands in the Jeep.

I leave mine of all the time. In winter it must be parked under a carport to stop the dew going eevrywhere and being damp on the way to work, but summer is fine. i have the safari straps on also and strangly the only time anything has been stolen out of my jeep since 2006 was when my hard top was on???

Maybe that was the only time 'they' thought you might leave anything worth stealing inside.

I used to leave my TJ with the top up, but side & back windows off all the time, but winter, raining or cooler non summer times, I'd occy strap a tarp over it to keep the dew off the back seats. (So the kids could get to school dry.)

If you have a carport, dew shouldn't be an issue, or, (as long as you don't have bird problems), under some trees. Either will keep the dew off.

Same here with the winter thing, I'm hoping to maybe get some half doors or even Tube doors for summer.
As far as security though, I've owned 10 convertibles in my time & ironically the only time I've had break ins was with the roof up! My personal theory has always been when it's parked without the roof off it stands out.. Well, that is my theory...

In summer I have the top off for a few days here and there, just make sure those days there is nothing anywhere in the car, all kept locked up in the console. Could take the uhf I spose but that gives me an excuse to get a new 80 ch

If there is nothing easily avaliable and they do something to the car, I figure they would be the same type of inbreds who would pinch outside stuff anyway (lights, aerial etc)

Have the alarm on doors and hood/bonnet so thats good enough. Hear anything and me and the big boy mastiff will be out in a second
