Default Injector removal tool

Hi all, I am removing the injectors from a 2002 KJ, 2.5l CRD, looks like I need the injector removal tool.

Would anyone have the special injector removal tool that I could borrow, otherwise I will get a price and source one.

I think the part is this one.
Miller Tools VM.9075A Fuel Injector Remover
Part Number: MSTVM.9075A

Thanks
Kim

I have opted to purchase the following tools to get me out of my predicament. If any one else needs them in the future I am happy to lend them out for a small fee to try and recoup my cost. PM me of interested.

VM.9075 Injector removal tool.
VM.1055 Camshaft gear removal tool.

Kim.

Ever thought of a Sticky for anyone who has special tools who might like to loan/hire them to others. The Sticky could contain what tools/equipment you have with Free/Cost of loan details.
I know that potentially there could be issues, however there are ways around all issues.

Good idea Greg I will put one up and people can chime in with what they have and their criteria for loaning them out.

Default Make the tool

I just made a tool to take the injectors out all you need is the right size crescent spanner a length of treaded bar with large washers and two nuts, a hammer head, now cut the crescent end off the spanner and weld it to the treaded bar so it at 90* to the length of the bar, now place the threaded bar through the hammer head, now put the washer and nuts on. Now you have a sliding hammer injector remover, works a treat !!!!

Hi Kim
Was wondering if you could answer a couple questions about the tool? Does the tool actually grip the recess lower down on the injector? As my injector guys have just stripped the thread on the top of my injectors attempting to get them out! So if this tool actually slots into the recess area further down on the injector I might be able to use it. Can you let me know how much it cost, how long to deliver etc. And your experience about the level of pressure it can exert on the injector, mine are rather seized due to the dreaded injector blow-by (aka black-death) and if I can find a tool which uses the recess I might stand a real chance of getting them out without the head being removed. Anything you can tell me would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers and thanks
