If you are doing that because of concern about the existing oil you might be better to do it twice. I know that's more oil but it's about diluting what's in there cause of the amount retained in the torque converter. Dump and refill. Go for a drive to mix it all up then do it again. Alternatively there is dscussion on here about flushing it out. Basically you drop the old oil, refill, then remove the feed to the cooler. Run the car let it pump out say a litre of oil. Turn off and top that much back up. Keep going till the the oil pumping out is the same new colour as the oil you are using. This will use as much if not more than the other way and probably doesn't change the dilution factor and how successful teh procedure is due to the fact you can't drain the whole thing straight up so the whole procedure is about the progressive diluting of the old fluid be it wrong or contaminated etc.

I'm now using the Nulon been running around town a bit and towed our van to Byron and back couple of weeks ago (4hrs each way) and seems fine. Previous owner used the synthetic Penrite without issue. I went Nulon as I could get it off the shelf any time in town whereas I had to order the Penrite in. I didn't flush with the change just normal change.

Can't remember how much all up in box about 7lts I think, I do know just an oil and filter change is about 5 lts as I just did mine and tipped the bloody stuff all over me. As Fester said re changing oil brand, need to flush the old stuff out. If you live in Canberra, MB Spares has the correct MB 236.10 oil, at $17/lt last time I shopped.
I just dip it with engine virtually cold and check the mark and fill back to that mark, all good for 100,000k + doing that
