Smile Kj towing

Hi guys, this is my first entry to this site but I have been reading it for quite a while.
I just got back from towing my 16 ft pop top up the great northern highway to Cue. The KJ is a great tow vehicle. I sat on 100 km/h and got about 14.5 litres per 100k. The torque available meant great power available whenever I needed it. My last vehicle was a 5 litre statesman and the Jeep leaves it for dead as a tow vehicle.
The one problem I did have and I know from reading the threads that it is common. The back passenger side window failed with a grind and bump and fell in. I had to put a piece of wood in to hold the window up for the rest of the trip. I have kits coming from Steiger performance right now. Thanks to you guys for the tip on where to get the kits.

Great advise on this site - well done.

Thanks mate, the way I see it all cars have their issues. I have had my 2007 CRD KJ for just over a year now and for a vehicle that is good on the road, terrific in the bush and tows as well as it does I can put up with a few faults. It really helps having the heads up this forum provides.
